This is to inform you that the undersigned has completed or plans to complete the degree requirements in August 2024, December 2024, or May 2025 and has been informed by their academic dean that they are authorized to apply to be a candidate for graduation.

Note: To meet the deadline for the May 3, 2025 Commencement Ceremony, please submit this form no later than March 14, 2025.

Please Note: Completion of this form does not guarantee that you qualify as a candidate for graduation. All requirements for graduation as published in the academic catalog, including all courses must be completed with passing grades for the degree that you are seeking, and all financial obligations must be satisfied before the end of the semester in which you will complete the academic program.

Upon receipt of your Candidacy for Graduation form, and the appropriate Graduation Fee, the Registrar’s Office will complete a degree audit of your academic record for the academic program indicated. If the degree audit confirms you are eligible to be a candidate for graduation, your name with your academic program will be submitted to your academic program to confirm the findings of the degree audit, and then to the President, who will certify the list of candidates for graduation to the Virginia University of Lynchburg Board of Trustees for approval.

Candidacy for Graduation Form

Regalia – Order your cap & gown between February 28 and March 29, 2025, using the “Graduation Attire” link below. You will not be able to order Regalia after the deadline of March 29, 2025. You will not be eligible to participate in the Graduation Ceremony without the proper university commencement regalia for the DHA program. There will be No Exceptions!!!!!!!

Students can purchase their custom VUL regalia from “Graduation Attire” at the website link provided below.

All regalia purchases must be made by March 29, 2025 using the “Graduation Attire” link.

All DHA (Doctor of Healthcare Administration) student regalia is custom-made, and the vendor requires 6 weeks to produce the regalia. Sizes will become limited and even unavailable as Commencement approaches if not ordered by the deadline.
